David has over 25 years experience in the automobile industry, along with a lifetime passion for cars and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
David loves his line of work. Having worked for Truecar, American Honda, Acura, Toyota and Nissan, David knows the ins and outs of the car industry and car buying. David has an extensive network of dealers and fleet managers for virtually all makes and models. Having conducted focus group research at dozens of dealership across the country, David knows the mistakes many people make under pressure at dealerships. And having worked at one, David know the shortcoming of online car buying services. For instance, did you know that most car buying services sell your contact information to dealers? Or that the pricing they provide is based on “virtual” inventory that doesn’t actually exist on dealer lots? In addition, these programs lack personal service.
